The research service of HeadHunter Company has spent interrogation among inhabitants of Bashkortostan and found out, that only every third respondent told about his strengths, professional achievements and awards at employment in the company where he works at present.
48 % people told about their merits only after an employer asked them about it, and 20 % and did not mention it at all. The majority of the interrogated did not consider the information on strong qualities as relevant believing that if these data is interesting to the employer he will enquire about it himself. Moreover, almost every third of those who all the same listed his merits and value as a professional at the interview, underlined that he feels uncomfortable to speak about it.
More often top-managers (49 %) and representatives of art, entertainment, mass media (47 %) independently speak about their strengths. Lawyers, on the contrary, less often consider it necessary to speak about their merits.
Interrogation was spent by research service of HeadHunter Company from July 3-9, 2012 among 1154 employees of Bashkortostan companies.
