Fr om this year employers are obliged to charge and pay insurance payments in the Pension fund for employees-foreigners who temporarily staying in Russia and concluded indefinite term labour contract or fixed-term labour contract for the term of not less than six months. The exception is made for the highly skilled experts defined by the federal law «Concerning a legal status of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation». Earlier payments into the Pension fund of the Russian Federation were paid only for foreigners, constantly or temporarily residing in Russia.
The rate of insurance payments into the Pension fund of the Russian Federation for foreign workers temporarily staying in the territory of our country makes 22 percent in the event that their annual earnings do not exceed the lim iting size of ratable base which makes 512 thousand roubles in 2012. If annual salary of a foreigner exceeds 512 thousand roubles, rate of payments into the Pension fund decreases by 10 percent.
For today in Bashkortostan 443 employers make deductions for the employees-foreigners temporarily staying in the territory of the Russian Federation, the press-service of the Pension Fund Department on RB informs.
