Prayer rooms at Republican gathering station turned out to be highly demanded
Two prayer rooms, opened at the Republican gathering station this year, turned out to be highly demanded among religious recruits, Military Commissar RB Anatoly Baltinsky reported during today’s press-conference.
According to him if the necessity to pray arises among representatives of other religious confessions, the leadership of Military Commissariat RB is ready to solve this problem.
“Now we are watching the tendency to increase of the number of religious recruits, who go to churches and mosques and read Koran and Bible” – Anatoly Baltinsky said – “I noticed it during my work at the gathering station and I am aware of that from the reports of my subordinates”.
The prayer rooms were opened at the Republican gathering station on May 21 near the barracks. The rooms have all attributes, necessary for prayers (icons, beads and special mats for Muslim prayers).
