Bashkiria annually renews its breeding livestock for 400 million roubles

Landowners of Bashkortostan annually purchase 4 thousand heads of breeding cattle. Taking into account that one head of breeding cattle stock on average costs from 80 to 100 thousand roubles, annually on these purposes it is spent about 400 million roubles, the Ministry of Agriculture informs. Purchase of breeding cattle in our republic is one of priority directions in animal industries development.

In connection with the beginning of the «500 farms» republican program realisation the indicator of breeding cattle purchase will overpass 5 thousand heads, the first Deputy Minister of Agriculture RB Azat Ziganshin considers.

More actively peasants buy dairy cattle. The republic concluded contracts on delivery of breeding animals with foreign partners from Hungary, Finland, Germany and Belarus. The cattle of domestic origin, including from breeding farms of the republic which amount to one hundred twenty five now is also in demand.

In connection with large expenses of agricultural producers for purchase of breeding cattle the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan studies issues for subsidising of the given direction, including from the federal budget.
