Japanese researcher investigated Arab manuscripts of six Ufa’s archives

The researcher of Eastern manuscripts from Tokyo University Nobuko Morisito has visited Ufa and investigation of the collection of Arab manuscripts, found in the funds of the capital RB, was the main goal of her visit. Within the frames of the visit the guest from Japan has visited six scientific institutions, which archives kept the manuscripts she was interested in. Bashkir State University was one of such institutions. The press-service of Bashkir State University reports Mrs. Morisito had a talk to Professor Ishmukhamet Galyautdinov and to assistant of the University’s orientalism chair Ilgiz Gaffarov. The researcher has received full information about Arab manuscripts, found in Ufa, and several rare books as a gift from Bashkir State University.

As Mrs. Nobuko reported, she is going to publish a big scientific article on the base of her investigations in our city in one of scientific journals of Japan.
