A new mosque is erected in the village Suleimanovo, Zianchurinsky region of Bashkortostan. The imam of the new Muslim parish Bilal Saifutdinov reported to the news agency “Bashinform” that the mosque was built up by the whole village. One local businessman donated necessary sum and local residents provided the future mosque with building materials. For five years villagers have erected two-storied red brick building with a minaret. The mosque is meant for more than 50 parishioners.
The mosque will be officially opened on July 8 and heads of regional clerical Muslim depts., representatives of local administrations and villagers will take part in the solemn ceremony.
“We intended to finish all building works by the whole month of Ramadan and managed to do it” – the imam told – “Our village is small – only 20 yards and the mosque has already become a place of interest for the whole region. We hope that villagers from neighboring settlements will visit us too. We do hope that opening of this mosque will contribute to moral and spiritual revival of the village Suleimanovo as well as of all villages, located nearby”.
