The book about legendary sportswoman Rimma Batalova was presented in Moscow
Presentation of Sergey Korablev’s book “Rimma Batalova is a sports legend” has taken place in the conference-hall of the Plenipotentiary Office RB under the President of Russia in Moscow. The book is devoted to the Vice-President of Russian Paralympic Committee, honorable master of sports, a native of Bashkortostan Rimma Batalova. At present time she is considered the most titled sportswoman in the world: the 13th Paralympic champion, the eighteenth-fold world champion and the forty-three-fold European champion.
At present time Rimma Batalova – the main hero of the book – successfully combines sports and political career. In December 2011 she was elected a deputy of Russian State Duma of the sixth convocation. When being a deputy she initiated establishment and headed the sub-committee for development of Paralympic sports, physical culture and sports for disabled people in the staff of the State Duma committee for physical culture, sports and youth affairs.
The President of Russian Paralympic Committee, the ombudsman of Russia Vladimir Lukin and other officials have addressed themselves with complimentary address to participants of the presentation.
The consultant of the head of the Presidential administration RB Andre Potylitsyn has read out congratulation and a complimentary address of the President RB Rustem Khamitov.
Rimma Batalova has in her turn thanked all guests for congratulations and personal support.
