Young artist from Bashkiria has won children’s drawing competition at EXPO-2012 in the South Korea

12-year-old Elvina Muftahitdinova fr om Mezhgorje has won the first award in the competition of children's drawings «Fauna of Arctic Regions and the Arctic Ocean», organised within the lim its of the business program of the Russian exposition at the World Specialised Exhibition EXPO-2012 in the South Korea.

This high place the young artist is awarded for her work «Penguin with Fish», the press centre of the Russian exposition at EXPO-2012 specified.

Children from all over the country participated in the creative competition: from Murmansk and Vladivostok, Kaliningrad and Yakutsk, Moscow and St.-Petersburg and other regions of Russia. In total about 500 works were sent to the press centre of the Russian exposition at EXPO-2012.

As organizers inform, it was very uneasy for the jury to choose the best five of drawings. Besides Elvina among winners are representatives of Moscow, Lipetsk, Komi Republic, the Murmansk Region.

Speaking about work of the artist from Mezhgorje, the chairman of jury, the director of the Russian pavilion at the EXPO – general director GK "Inkonnekt" Tatyana Sadofeva marked that the drawing was executed in the interesting technique, very bright and live.

One more representative of Mezhgorje city — 10-year-old Daniel Mishnyov receieved a special prize of the jury for his drawing «Arctic Summer».
