Bashkortostan stands on the seventh place among Russian regions by housing commissioning in January-May 2012. For five months of the year 6000 flats with total area 568,3 thousand square meters have been put into exploitation in the Republic. Bashkortostan holds the second place in Volga federal district by this showing.
More than 85% of total housing commissioning falls on individual developers. Growth of house building in the countryside is also noticeable – 292,5 thousand square meters – 126% to the last year’s level. At the same time certain slump is registered in Bashkir cities – 99,1% as compared with the same period of time in 2011.
The press-service of the state committee RB for building and architecture reports that 2,3 billion square meters of housing is planned to erect in the Republic by the end of 2012, i.e. 0,57 square meters has to be put into exploitation per one citizen RB.
