The spouse of the Ambassador of India has visited the Ufa rest home for aged and disabled persons

On Thursday June 28, the spouse of the Ambassador of India Ira Malhotra during her visit to our republic visited the Ufa rest home for aged and disabled persons, where she examined a medical department, living rooms, canteens, a sewing workshop, library.

The director of establishment Airat Kadyrov said that the Ufa rest home is one of five establishments of social support to aged and disabled persons working in the republic. 235 people live in the Ufa rest home, both aged ones, and disabled persons fr om 18 years,  Airat Kadyrov specified.  They are rendered here services according to the advanced standards of social and medical aid.

In turn, the guest marked high organisation of life and health services to people living in the rest home, having underlined that in India such services are rendered in private establishments wh ere people pay for them themselves.

Ira Malhotra handed over to the director of the rest home a money certificate.

Meanwhile, the program of stay of the Indian delegation, consisting of the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of India Republic in Russia Ajai Malhotra and the deputy director of the Jawaharlal Nehru’s cultural centre Sanjay Vedi, is quite intense. The schedule includes visiting of several city enterprises, including the Ufa Engine-Building Production Association, and a number of meetings with republican leadership.

Visitors have already been at Ufa City Administration with business negotiations and visited the Bashkir State Puppet Theatre.
