According to available information, from January till May, 2012 in Bashkortostan 34 workers died at the place of production as against 28 casualties for the similar period of 2011. Number of casualties with occupational major injuries slightly decreased from 75 to 73 people.
The most hazardous organisations broken down by types of economic activities were organisations of processing manufacture, construction, transport and communication, real estate operations and mining operations. Thus growth of fatal traumas is registered in the agriculture organisations – from three to five workers, and also in the transport sphere – from three to eight people, Andrey Tsibizov, the head of the State Labor Inspection Service, the main state labor inspector in Bashkortostan informed at the press conference on June 25.
