Ice arena opens in Sterlitamak at year-end

Construction of an ice hockey stadium proceeds in Sterlitamak. The considerable part of works has been already executed, now the interior finish has been conducting at the object. Also builders are engaged in accomplishment of adjoining territory.

As the Ministry of Sports RF informs, trainings on figure skating and ice hockey will be hold on the new arena. Arena tribunes are meant for about 2500 people. The complex structure will include also a universal sports gym where it is possible to be engaged in various kinds of sports. Besides, there will be a possibility for common people ice-skating on the arena.

The object is erected as a part of the Federal Target-Oriented Program «Physical Training and Sports Development in the Russian Federation for 2006-2015». The ice hockey stadium’s handover for commissioning is planned for December this year. The ice arena becomes the first indoor ice rink in Sterlitamak.
