Rustem Khamitov has charged to create working group on WTO issues
The working group concerning Russia's entry the World Trade Organization will be created in Bashkortostan. The President of Republic Rustem Khamitov has given such commission to Prime Minister Azamat Ilimbetov.
Consequences of the country’s joining the WTO and their influence on the republican economy were discussed today at the Social Council session on Investment Climate Advancement at the President of Bashkortostan which took place in Sibay during the investment forum "Zauralye-2012".
— Economy protection measures are accepted at the level of country leaders, at the same time we know, that these measures of protectionism – for instance, in agriculture —do not work yet in full, — the President of Bashkortostan ascertained.
According to the president of Chamber of Commerce and Industry RB Jury Pustovgarov, only seven percent of economic entities of the republic in one way or other prepare to WTO entry today. Among perspective branches the head of Chamber named, in particular, development of scientific-engineering companies — first of all, in the petroleum industry sphere, IT branch and such sub-branch of agriculture, as honey production, halal production, leather processing.
