One of the main tasks of the investment forum, which is to be held in the town of Sibay on June 8-9, is to stop the outflow of population fr om the territories of Bashkir trans-Ural zone. Attraction of investments to the sub-region and new workplaces will help to stop undesirable migration processes, the deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB, the head of Governmental Machinery RB Ilshat Tajitdinov reported today. He has mentioned that the town of Sibay was chosen the site for the forthcoming investment forum not accidentally.

“At present time the level of social-economic development doesn’t correspond to the potential we observe there” – he said – “Having the area almost 28% of the territory of Bashkortostan and wh ere about 9% of Bashkir population live, the sub-region produces just about 6% of the gross municipal product and brings to the consolidated budget RB about 5% of revenues”.

At present time migration outflow is registered in trans-Ural zone. According to official statistics almost 2 thousand people have left the zone in 2011. Local residents go to big cities, searching for jobs, and often beyond the Republic – to Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk and Orenburg.

Participants of the forum, initiated by the Government RB and Trade-Industry Chamber RB have to find the ways for solution of this problem.

The forum will be opened on June 8 in the Children Art Center of Sibay. Plenary session will begin at 11 o’clock and the President RB Rustem Khamitov expected to take the floor there.
