Bashkir soloists have taken part in II international contest of folk-pop music of Turk countries

The II international contest of folk-pop music of Turk countries has taken place on May 19-23 within the frames of the 39th international culture week in the Turkish town of Silifk with assistance of TURKSOY. Bashkir singers Aidar Khamzin, Leisan Mutallapova, Alfia Bessler and the author of many Bashkir pop songs Saria Valeeva have taken part in it together with vocalists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Khakassia, Tatarstan, Tuva and Crimea (Ukraine).

The representative of Bashkortostan in TURKSOY Akhat Salikhov reports that Bashkir composer and musician, honorable activist of arts of Russian Federation and Republic of Bashkortostan, laureate of G. Salyam and F. Karim Prizes Nur Dautov was one of the members of the jury along with many popular artists and composers from different countries.
