4200 flats have been put into exploitation in Bashkortostan in January-April 2012. The total area of these flats is 403,8 thousand square meters, i.e. 110,1%, as compared with the same period of time in 2011, Bashkir State Statistics Committee reports.
The main volumes of housing, built up this year, still fall on individual developers. The share of housing, erected by people at their own expense and with the help of credits, amounts to 85,9%. Citizens of Bashkortostan have built up 3255 houses with total area 346,8 thousand square meters.
Press-service of the state committee RB for building and architecture reports 218 thousand square meters of housing have been erected in 2012 in the countryside and 185 thousand – on urban territories. Bashkortostan stands on the third place among regions of Volga federal district by the number of buildings, put into exploitation for four months 2012, and on the fifth place – by house building per capita.
