Bashkir State University launched a site of distant education. The system is based on Moodle platform and at present time functions in test mode, the press-center of the Bashkir State University reports. The site will contain manuals, texts and lectures. After reading these lectures students may pass tests and execute tasks for estimation of their level of knowledge and even for passing credits. Besides, new direction will allow organizing the education process in the form of seminars, it can monitor attendance, keep statistics and provides communication of students with pedagogues with the help of forums and chats.
For the reference: several dozen universities and institutes provide an opportunity to pass distant education courses in Russia: Moscow State University, Saint-Petersburg Polytechnic University, Kazan State Medical Academy, Ufa State Oil Technical University, Bashkir Academy of public service and management under the President RB and others.
