Federal Congress on electronic democracy to be held in Moscow on May 17-18
The federal congress on electronic democracy will take place in Moscow on May 17-18.
“Such congress is held for the first time” – said in the release of Russian Ministry for communication and mass communications – one of the main participants of the forum – “The goals of the congress are elaboration of recommendations on conducting state policy in sphere of electronic democracy’s development and discussion of mechanisms of implementation of means of electronic democracy in activity of federal, regional and municipal authorities”.
Within the frames of the congress the Ministry for communication and mass communications of Russia will demonstrate opportunities of the unified portal of electronic democracy of Russian Federation, worked up by the Ministry.
The forum is organized by the Russian Agency for development of informational society “RARIO” and by the Public Council of informational development “ROSINFORMRAZVITIE”. Representatives of federal and regional authorities, public activists in sphere of electronic democracy’s development, chiefs of non-commercial organizations and business structures, developing informational society, scientists and experts in sphere of electronic democracy and mass-media are invited.
