The Days of Slavic literature and culture to be held in Bashkortostan

The Days of Slavic literature and culture will be held in Bashkortostan on May 11-29 and within the frames of the Days conferences, exhibitions, concerts, theatrical performances, contests, evening parties and open lessons will take place in towns and regions of the Republic.

The Days of Slavic literature and culture will start with the Days of Polish culture at the Bashkir State University. The Days of Polish culture, devoted to the 15th anniversary of the Polish Culture and Enlightenment Center in RB, to the Year of happy childhood and family values in Bashkortostan and to the Year of Yanush Korchak in Poland will be held on May 11-17 in Ufa, Birsk, Neftekamsk, Blagoveshensk and in Ufimsky region RB.

All-Russian conference “Russian language, history and culture” will be held at the Bashkir State Pedagogical University. The VI international “Cyril and Methodius” readings and the IX scientific student conference “We are in the Slavic world” will be held at the Moscow State Humanitarian University by M.A. Sholokhov (Ufa division). The XX folklore festival of ancient Russian song will take place in the village Krasny Yar. The Days of Slavic literature and culture will be finished on May 29 with the town local lore conference in Ufa, devoted to the 150th anniversary from the birthday of Michael Nesterov.
