Preliminary informing customs bodies about goods, imported to the countries of the Customs Union by motor-car transport, will become obligatory. The novelty will become valid on June 17, 2012, the press-service of the Bashkir Customs reported to “Bashinform”.
The practice of obligatory preliminary informing, used in Eurozone, will help to increase carrying capacity of highways due to reduction of time, spent for customs procedures, and it will finally increase the level of economic security in the countries – the members of the Customs Union, the Federal Customs Service explained.
For preliminary informing customs officers recommend to use the internet-portal “Electronic furnishing information”.
