UGATU is elected a member of European Association of aerocosmic universities Pegasus
Ufa State Aviation Technical University (UGATU) has become a member of the European Association of aerocosmic universities Pegasus. This decision was reached at the meeting of the Association’s Council, the UGATU press-service reported.
The right to become a part of the European education system was given to UGATU for high level of its graduates’ training. UGATU has become the second Russian university, awarded with this rank, after Kazan State Technical University.
Participation of UGATU students with the rector Murat Guzairov in the international student conference, held at the National University of Mechanics in the town of Poities, France, has become the first step in this direction. Representatives of UGATU were the only participants from Russia. 32 reports of 62 have been chosen, including two reports from the Bashkir University (magistracy students of the aviation engines faculty Arsen Abdullin and Ruslan Farshatov).
The work of Arsen was devoted to modeling of combustion chambers in aviation engines and Ruslan presented software for calculation of different (piston and gas-turbine) aviation and rocket engines.
Representatives of Italy, Spain, France, Sweden, Germany and Ukraine were among participants of the forum.
