Program for modernization of 500 milk farms is approved in Bashkortostan
The Government of Bashkortostan approved the program “Development of milk cattle-breeding and increase of milk output: complex modernization of 500 milk farms in RB”. The program is meant for five years, the press-service of the Government RB reported.
For this period of time 500 milk farms will be modernized and other six milk centers have to be erected. The expected growth of labor productivity will amount to at least 25%. According to forecast plans the growth of milk gross output will amount to 52 thousand tons in 2012 and to 72 thousand tons by 2016 thanks to development of this program.
The measures of state support will affect gross milk output in the republic. For five years it will go up from 1750 to 2220 thousand tons. The growth will make up about 27%. Participants of the program “500 farms” have to provide the growth of milk output by 37% for the same period of time. Livestock of milk cattle and indices of cow productivity will correspondingly grow too.
The overall volume of financing is planned at the rate of 27 billion 579 million rubles (17 billion 812 million rubles – from off-budget sources, 8 billion 20 million – from Republican budget and one billion 746 million – from municipal budgets).
