The VI Winter International Children Games in Ufa presented at General Assembly of national Olympic committees’ associations in Moscow
Information about VI Winter International Children Games-2013 in Ufa and souvenirs were presented at the General Assembly of national Olympic committees’ associations, held in Moscow on April 12-17.
The press-service of the Ministry for youth policy and sport RB reports more than 1000 leaders of Olympic movement from more than 200 countries for the first time in world history gathered in the capital of Russia: heads of national Olympic committees, ministers of sport, presidents and representatives of international sports federations.
Along with the VI Winter International Children Games-2013 the stands of the XXII Winter Olympic Games in Sochi and the V International Sports Games “Children of Asia” were presented to participants of the Assembly.
The Minister for youth policy and sport RB Vyacheslaw Chernov reports many participants of the Assembly displayed high interest in exposition from Bashkortostan, including the Minister for sport, tourism and youth policy of Russia Vitaly Mutko, the president of the organizing committee “Sochi-2014” Dmitry Chernyshenko and the president of the Russian Olympic Committee Alexander Zukov.
The VI Winter International Children Games will be held in the capital of Bashkortostan on February 26 – March 3, 2013. About 1000 young sportsmen from all countries of the world at the age of 13-15 will compete in the following kinds of sport: ice hockey, figure skating, short-track, snowboard, Alpine ski, ski racing and sports orienteering.
