The photo-exhibition “Mosques of the world” is opened in the Central State Library (Ufa, Kalinin Street, 11). The exposition is presented by partners from the National Library RB by Akhmet-Zaki Validi.
The author of the exhibition, imam of Ufa mosque “25 Prophets” Faul-haji Ikhsanov was meeting with the readers and telling about the main idea of the exposition, including more than 40 photos of mosques in all world nooks, beginning from China and finishing with France.
This exhibition is just a small part of wide collection of the Ufa’s mosque “25 Prophets” under the same name “Mosques of the World”. The collection consists of two parts: photographs and paintings. Photos of mosques in Mecca, Medina and Palestine, made by the imam during hajj and demonstrated at the exhibition, are taken from the first part of the collection.
The exhibition will work till April 20.
