The executive director of the Committee RB for UNESCO Affairs Ulfat Umaguzin in staff of the delegation of regional UNESCO committees has visited Latvia and Estonia. Delegation has taken part in the international seminar “Clever School of the Future”, initiated by UNESCO Institute of IT in sphere of education with the assistance of Latvian National UNESCO Committee, the Ministry for education and science of Latvia and Riga Duma. Experts in sphere of education fr om 15 countries participated in it.
Within the frames of the visit the executive director of the Committee RB for UNESCO Affairs has held meetings with foreign partners, cooperating with Republic of Bashkortostan not only in Latvia but in Estonia too. Together with the representatives of Latvian Bashkir Diaspora Ulfat Umaguzin has paid visits to Paldiski and Tallinn.
During the meeting with representatives of Paldiski administration the parties confirmed the striving for activation of cooperation with the town, which was spiritually connected with Bashkortostan with its historical destiny. Local administration keeps the memory about nation al hero of Bashkir nation Salavat Ulaev, who had once served the imprisonment for life in the castle of Rogerwick together with his father Ulay Aznalin.
The guests have visited the park, wh ere a Salavat Ulaev’s monument is installed, and the building and the territory of the industrial park, located nearby. The museum of Salavat Ulaev will be located in this building after repair and reconstruction. Paldiski architects prepared the project of beautification of the park’s territory near the monument of Salavat Ulaev. Ulfat Umaguzin will submit the project for consideration in Bashkortostan. Local authorities invite Republican business circles to work together since the town of Paldiski actively develops itself and new enterprises are opened here. Business faces good prospects here because tax preferences within the frames of European Community give any foreigner, having a business-plan, a chance to be financed by European Community.
The executive director of the Committee RB for UNESCO Affairs has met with the leaders of Bashkir society “AGIDEL” in Tallinn.
