A new mosque will be opened in Ufa

A new mosque will be opened in Demsky district of Ufa at the end of August, the head of local Muslim community Zamir Khairullin reported to the news agency “Bashinform”.

“At present time we are busy with roofing, finishing and façade works” – he said – “I hope that by the end of summer we will finish all works and open the mosque. We’d like to meet the national holiday of Kurban-Bayram in the new mosque’s building”.

The two-storied mosque is meant for 800 people and it will be called “Madina”. Muslim believers of Ufa, the chairman of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia, Supreme Mufti Talgat Tadjuddin, imams of Bashkir mosques and heads of Demsky district of Ufa are already invited to solemn opening.
