On March 30 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has held a work meeting with the deputy Minister for regional development of Russia Ilya Ponomarev. Problems of house building, including economic-class housing, provision of socially unprotected layers of population with housing and development of building branch were under discussion in the course of the meeting, the public affairs service of the President RB reported.
As Rustem Khamitov mentioned, “our building complex works stably and in 2011 we demonstrated more rapid development, as compared with 2012. We continue working in 2012 with the same dynamics”.
Commenting the totals of the gathering Ilya Ponomarev said to journalists that the parties “have outlined the ways of cooperation with Ministry for regional development of Russia”.
“I am happy that today we are holding such serious action of interregional scale on the territory of Bashkortostan. In the course of this gathering we’d like to discuss further development of house building in the country and to estimate the achievements of your Republic in this sphere” – Ilya Ponomarev mentioned. In his opinion “serious interrelations in building complex are observed in the Republic for today. Bashkortostan experiences through real transformation of all business structures in building sphere and those approaches, declared today, can be called quite correct. For example, establishment of a regional building operator is a right step for formation of fair price for social housing. Nothing is able to reduce the price except big volumes of construction but big volumes of offers in the housing market can be formed only consolidating all resources and if the regional building fund is able to do it, I believe that in the nearest future we will watch more offers on social housing in the market and at cheaper prices. The transition to complex assimilation of territories, when the whole region is first prepared, necessary infrastructure is built up and only after that the housing is erected, can be called one more positive moment. This is also one of the ways for reduction of the housing prime cost”.
