All-Russian forestry forum started working in Moscow
The all-Russian forestry forum started working in Moscow today. Delegation of Bashkortostan, headed by the Minister for forestry RB Rajap Nabiullin, is taking part in its work. The forum is organized by the Federal Forestry Agency and more than 600 people fr om all Russian “forest” regions are taking part in it.
Along with forestry employees, governors of some Russian regions, directors of big woodworking enterprises, forestry education institutions and heads of public ecological organizations are taking part in the forum.
The main goal of the Moscow forum is summing up the work balance of Russian forestry in 2011, determination of the prior directions in development of the forestry branch and the main approaches of state policy in sphere of forest relations.
The first deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Viktor Zubkov will take the floor with salutary address.
It should be noted that Viktor Zubkov heads the council for development of forestry complex, established in 2007 under the Government of Russia.
Along with the plenary gathering of the forum, devoted to a new forestry policy of the country, several “round tables” and the exhibition, wh ere products and services of forestry and woodworking companies, new technologies and technique are demonstrated, will be held within the frames of the forum.
