Bashkortostan holds the 8th line in Top10 of innovational regions in Russia. The rating of innovational activity in Russian Federation was made by the Foundation “Saint-Petersburg Policy”, the Russian National Economy and Public Service Academy under the President of Russia and by the newspaper “RBK-Daily”.
The site of the Foundation “Saint-Petersburg Policy “ reports the rating is devoted to the round-up of the latest developments in innovational sphere in January-February 2012.
The Top 10 of the best innovational regions also includes Krasnoyarsk region, Tomsk and Novosibirsk regions, Tatarstan, Kaluga and Nizhniy Novgorod regions, Moscow, Ulyanovsk and Samara regions.
In opinion of experts the following latest and the most important events helped Bashkortostan to join the Top 10. First, tax preferences for investors started working in the region. Bashkir authorities announced the start of the republican complex goal-oriented program for development of nanoindustry. The online reception point for acceptance of investment applications is opened in Bashkortostan. The Republic became one of Russian pilot regions, which started the experiment on working up the standards in executive power bodies’ activity for creation of favorable investment climate.
Besides, the experts of the rating note the meeting of the President RB Rustem Khamitov with representatives of internet community and construction of the first in Russia energy-efficient district in Ufa.
