Young cinematographers from Bashkiria can take part in all-Russian festival in Saint-Petersburg

The III all-Russian children filmfest “KINOOSTROV-2012” (“Cinema Island”) will be held in Saint-Petersburg on June 4-18. Children at the age of 8-17 and creative collectives from all Russian regions, CIS and foreign countries are invited. Special skills and knowledge in sphere of cinema production aren’t required and the main requirements to the participants are: creative way of thinking and desire to shoot and be shot in films.

The main theme of the festival in 2012 will be – “Where do magicians live?” and children will make their own films under guidance of professional pedagogues. The jury, headed by well-known film producer Dmitry Astrakhan, will estimate the children’s works.
