An eparchial Olympiad among pupils in apologetics – the skill to protect one’s belief intellectually – will be held in Ufa and children at the age of 10-16 will take part in it, the press-service of Bashkortostan’s Metropolitanate reports.
The following topics will be offered for discussion: “Atheism and faith”, “How the world is made” and “How miracle is possible”, “Islam and Christianity”, “About Trinity”, “About the God’s Son and Incarnation”, “Saving and Paradise” etc. The participants of the Olympiad will be offered to explain the contradictions, existing between the main directions of Christianity – Orthodox Christianity and Catholicism, between Christianity and Protestantism.
The Olympiad will take place on March 18 and applications for participation are accepted till March 16.
