At least ten international observers will work in Bashkortostan on March 4 – the day of presidential elections, the chairman of the Central Electoral Committee RB Khaidar Valeev reported during his press-conference, held by the news agency “Bashinform”.
Two representatives of the Bureau for democratic institutes and human rights Hans Birger (Sweden) and Ludmila Blinova (Lithuania) already work in the Republic, keeping control over the course of presidential elections on a long-term basis. Other eight observers of CIS mission expected to join them on March 4 – five observers from Kazakhstan, three from Ukraine and one from Byelorussia.
