State purchases in Russia will serve interests of agricultural producers

author: Eugene Rakhimkulov

State purchases should become an efficient mechanism for direct support of Russian agrarians, the Chairman of the Russian Government Vladimir Putin stated, answering questions of participants of the all-Russian agrarian forum in Ufa.

In opinion of the overwhelming majority of agrarians the situation in the country today is such that only mediators win profits instead of producers under the existing system of state purchases in the country.

In opinion of Vladimir Putin sometimes mediators are really necessary, since they bear responsibility for deliveries and all possible breakdowns of deliveries but the system of state purchases is meant for participation of agricultural producers in its work first of all and if the situation is such that the system supports resellers, it should be revised.
