Association of retail trade companies (AKORT) and Ministry for agriculture RB signed sectoral framework agreement today, February 27, aimed at cooperation between biggest Russian trade networks and local agricultural producers. This is the first agreement, signed within the frames of the all-Russian agrarian forum, which started working in Ufa today.
The document is signed by the first deputy Minister for agriculture RB Ramil Nuriakhmetov and the chairman of AKORT Presidium Ilya Jacobson. The ceremony has taken place during purchase session with representatives of X5 Retail Group and 80 agricultural producers of Bashkiria.
“For the first time such agreement is signed between AKORT and sectoral regional ministry” – the chairman of the National milk Producers Union Andre Danilenko stated and invited the participants to the dialogue, “which should become the start for direct purchases, avoiding mediators”. Ufa was chosen the site for such dialogue.
Presentation of the biggest trade network in Russia X5 Retail Group has taken place in the course of the purchase session. This company holds 5,8% of the Russian trade market.
