The Ministry for finances of Russian Federation made the decision to shift abolition of unified tax on imputed earnings from 2014 to 2018. Moreover, the Ministry intends to make the use of this tax voluntary.

The chairman of the Business Organizations Association RB, a deputy of the State Council-Kurultay-RB Alexei Sherbatsky has commented upon this good news for business community.

“We all remember that panic, which seized the whole business community of the country immediately after the federal bill “Alteration of the Tax Code of Russian Federation” had been introduced in public. According to this bill the unified tax on imputed earnings has to be completely abolished beginning from 2014 and replaced by so-called patent taxation system. This news aroused wide response in business circles, leaving nobody indifferent. But we never lost heart and began writing numerous appeals to the authority as well as to the all-Russian business organizations. As a result, our voices have been heard: new amendments to the bill will be introduced already during this month”.
