The average size of salary in Bashkiria will be increased up to 21 thousand rubles by the end of 2012, the Minister for economic development RB Eugene Mavrin reported today.
“In 2011 we watched rather interesting situation, when inflation was going down, as compared with previous years, on the contrary, salaries — up” – the Minister mentioned – “The index of consumer prices amounted just to 6,4% at the end of the year – the lowest level of inflation since the beginning of economic reforms. Thus, average wage has grown by 13,3% in nominal value – up to 18427 rubles and in reality the growth was equal to 3,9%”.
Positive tendencies can be watched in struggle with unemployment, the Minister continued. The level of officially registered unemployment has reduced from 2 to 1,4% for the last year, thus, reaching the pre-crisis level. The number of unemployed citizens has decreased by almost 10 thousand: from 39,6 thousand to 29,8.
