The Central Electoral Commission of Bashkortostan considers closure of the premises, where the voting is to be held, before the elections absolutely inadmissible because it breaks the ordinary way of life of local citizens.
“We’ve received several messages that after installation of web-cameras the premises, meant for voting, turned out to be closed and sealed” – the chairman of the Central Electoral Commission RB Khaidar Valeev reported – “It mustn’t be done in any case since the election stations are often located at schools, kindergartens, culture houses etc”.
The Central Electoral Committee RB urges municipal authorities not to restrict the access of local citizens to the premises, meant for voting.
