80% of equipment for video-broadcast of the course of the presidential elections is installed at Bashkir elections stations, the General Director of JSC “BASHINFORMSVYAZ” Rustem Safeev reported today.
3509 election stations will work at the forthcoming elections in Bashkortostan and web-cams are installed at 1800 of 3468 stations, where such equipment is to be mounted. At 124 election stations, where ordinary broadcast is difficult, online mode will be ensured due to satellite communication. At 41 stations, located in the places of permanent residence (hospitals, detention centers etc), there will be no online broadcast.
“By January 15 JSC “BASHINFORMSVYAZ” will complete installation of cameras and equipment on the territory of the whole Republic” – Rustem Safeev stated – “Bashkortostan will be one of the first Russian regions, by 100% ready for the forthcoming online broadcast”. On February 26 the system of video monitoring will be checked. Live broadcast of voting process will be seen on the sites of the Russian Central Electoral Commission and the Central Electoral omission RB and on the site www.webvybory2012.ru.
