Delegation of Armenia and Trade-Industry Chamber RB have discussed prospects of cooperation
Delegation of Armenia, headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia in Russia Oleg Esayan, has paid a visit to the Trade-Industry Chamber RB. The vice-president of the Chamber Paul Barmin welcomed the guests. He complained that business contacts between our Republics were practically close to zero. In his opinion these contacts have to be activated.
“Our business people don’t know much about your Republic, though our mutual potential is high. We still have no joint-ventures on our territory though our directions have much in common, for example, in sphere of mining operations. We have to present Armenia at all levels to make it recognizable not just with restaurant business and excellent cognac. Assistance to business is one of the Chamber’s tasks. We announced such project as the trip for technologies in the countries, having good achievements in technological sphere as well as in sphere of business undertakings”.
“We’d like to revive our cooperation with Russia at regional level” – Oleg Esayan said – “In 2011 we’ve for the first time exceeded the level at one billion 114 million USD in trade relations between Armenia and Russia but the share of Bashkortostan here is less than 4 million dollars”.
The Ambassador has underscored that Armenian legislation is open for economic relations, bringing no obstacles to interregional business.
The press-service of the Trade-Industry Chamber RB reports the parties have negotiated forthcoming signing of a cooperation agreement and presentation of Bashkortostan at the international forums, held in Armenia every year.
