Web-cams at all election stations of Bashkortostan will be mounted by the deadline. Representatives of the Republican Government were discussing the readiness of the municipalities to the forthcoming web-broadcast during the presidential elections on March 4, 2012, at today’s governmental meeting, held by the deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB Marat Mulukov. The chairman of the Central Electoral Commission RB Khaidar Valeev and the general director of JSC “BASHINFORMSVYAZ” – the organization, answerable for technical support of the elections – Rustem Safeev were bearing the responsibility. Administrations of all regions and towns RB were staying in touch.
According to M-r Valeev 3509 district electoral commissions and 69 territorial electoral commissions will function in the Election Day in Bashkortostan. Since the federal authority has made the decision to avoid organization of web-broadcasts of the elections at hospitals, investigatory isolation wards and other places of temporary residence, which number in the Republic is equal to 41, the web-cameras will be installed at 3537 election stations.
“822 election stations are already connected to the video-broadcast system for today” – Rustem Safeev reported and explained that the volume of works at every station includes installation of hardware and software complexes in the special anti-vandal boxes and installation of two web-cameras.
According to M-r Safeev all software and hardware complexes, the anti-vandal boxes and cables for cameras will be delivered for the Republic in the nearest two-three days. Before February 15 telecommunication workers have to cope with all their obligations and all-Russian testing of the system is appointed on February 26, 2012.
