The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov joined the Top5 of the most influential regional leaders. The corresponding rating for January 2012 is published by “The Independent Newspaper”.
The Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin (the 1st place), the Governor of Saint-Petersburg George Poltavchenko, the head of Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov and the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov are also found in the Top5 together with Rustem Khamitov.
The list of the regional leaders, whose influence is estimated as “very strong”, includes other 15 persons along with the abovementioned. The head of Krasnodar region Alexander Tkachev stands on the next position after Rustem Khamitov, the Governor of Pskov region Andre Turchak is found on the seventh line.
The rating was composed by the ten-point scale. Sergey Sobyanin collected 7,83 points, Rustem Khamitov – 6,33 points and the Governor of Orenburg region Uri Berg encloses the Top20 of the most powerful leaders with 4,53 points.
The influence of next 30 regional leaders was estimated as “strong”. They’ve collected from 2,97 to 4,35 points. The influence of the rest 33 leaders of Russian regions was estimated as “moderate” and they collected 1,15-2,95 points.
