The memorandum about mutual understanding between the Ministry for culture of Russian Federation and the International Turk Culture Organization (TURKSOY) has been signed in Moscow last Thursday. As it is known, the staff of TURKSOY, established in 1993, includes six ministries for culture of Russian regions, working as observers: Republic of Bashkortostan, Republic of Tatarstan, Republic of Altai, Republic of Tuva, Republic of Khakassia and Republic of Yakutia. In opinion of the representative of the Ministry for culture RB in TURKSOY Akhat Salikhov signing of the memorandum is called to contribute to better regulation of relations between Russian regions and TURKSOY and to development of contacts in sphere of culture, art, science and education.
