Bashkir agrarians may figure on discounts for fuels and lubricants during spring sowing works.
“We are working with our oil companied and agreed the discount will make up 30% of the fuel prices, registered in every region on December 2011” – the Chairman of the Russian Government Vladimir Putin stated at the meeting in Tambov – “The discount will be calculated from the wholesale prices, i.e. one liter of benzene and one liter of diesel fuel would cost slightly more than 16 rubles — 1 5 times less than the retail price, registered at our filling stations now”.
Vladimir Putin has mentioned that such measure is very important for agriculture and reported that as compared with the previous year the deliveries of discount fuel will be increased by 10%.
“I hope it will be enough for all agrarians” – Vladimir Putin added – “Thanks to this discount 18,5 billion rubles was saved for agriculture in 2011 additionally, taking the subsidies into account. In 2012 Russian agriculture will receive 12,2 billion rubles just for the first half of the year”.
Russia gives discounts to agrarians since 2009. In 2011 the agrarians purchased benzene and diesel fuel from Russian oil companies with the discount at 10% from the prices, registered on November 1, 2010. Russian agricultural producers have bought 2,7 million tons of fuel at discount prices last year.
In Bashkortostan the state backing for agrarians reached 420 million rubles in 2011. Besides, 90 thousand tons of fuels have been allocated at one-third discount, the Ministry for agriculture RB reported. This step helped Bashkir agrarians save about 850 million rubles.
