The general director of the autonomous non-commercial organization “Sports Broadcasting” Basil Kiknadze arrived in Ufa on January 23 on a work visit.
During the meeting with the leadership of the TV-radio company “Bashkortostan” he was discussing the problems, concerned with converting TV broadcasting into digital mode in the region in accordance with the decree of the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev from June 24, 2009, “All-Russian obligatory accessible TV and radio channels”.
It was stated that the leadership of the steering committee, responsible for preparation and holding the International Children’s Games-2013 in Ufa, imposed technical support on TV broadcasting of the Games’ competitions on the TV- radio company “Bashkortostan”. In this connection the plan for technical rearmament of the company was worked up.
For the reference: the autonomous non-commercial organization “Sports Broadcasting” was established on December 24, 2009, and its main goal was to create modern TV-radio broadcasting complex, able to broadcast TV, radio and online programs as well as photographing Olympic competitions with the help of the high definition TV-signal (HD).
