Rustem Khamitov has held a meeting with the Ambassador of Republic of Belarus in Russia Andre Kobyakov
On January 20 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic of Belarus in Russia Andre Kobyakov, found in the Republic on an acquaintance visit.
The President RB said thanks to the Ambassador for his visit to our Republic and mentioned that for today the relations between Bashkortostan and Byelorussian business were developing quite successfully.
“Byelorussia is considered the biggest business partner for our enterprises; nonetheless we still have to increase the volumes of our cooperation. Delegation of our Republic has visited Belarus and returned with rather interesting ideas, in particular, in sphere of agriculture” – Rustem Khamitov mentioned and reminded that “rather promising project for assembly of tractors is developed in Bashkiria and first 100 tractors are already assembled”, there were good ideas concerning development of potato growing in cooperation with Byelorussian specialists etc.
Andre Kobyakov has mentioned that “he was for the first time in Bashkiria and was really impressed by good results. It is evident that your republic is stably developing and you possess great potential for good progress in our relations”.
According to the Ambassador for 11 months of 2011 the mutual trade circulation made up about one billion 300 million dollars “This is two times more than for the whole 2010 and comparing with the previous eight years this figure was increased eight times”.
