The access to rare copies of the books, having high cultural and scientific value, is becoming simpler in Bashkortostan. In the nearest future these editions will be available in electronic format and this is one more public service, rendered by the Ministry for culture RB with the technical assistance of the Ministry for communication and mass communications RB.
As the deputy director of the National Library RB by Akhmet-Zaki Validi for PR and IT Razil Bikbulatov reported to “Bashinform”, 500 rare and handwritten manuscripts from the library’s “Golden Fund” are already converted into e-format and these editions will be available for wide access beginning from February 1 with the help of the unified portal of public services. Before that the lawyers have to bring all nuances, related to protection of the author’s rights, in conformity with the legislation.
“This service will be free since all these books are the heritage of the nation” – the agency’s interlocutor mentioned.
