On January 12 the President of Russia ordered his plenipotentiaries in federal districts to monitor several vitally important directions.
The Kremlin press-service reports that the President of Russia posed the problem, in particular, to keep close control over availability of the most important medicaments in drugstores, over validity of prices for technical checkup of cars, prices for fuel and fuel deliveries, uninterrupted work of housing and communal services and over the availability of necessary energy resources, necessary for such functioning.
In case of any arising problems the plenipotentiaries have to undertake all measures for solution of these problems in close interaction with the Russian and regional authorities.
Dmitry Medvedev specially instructed the head of the federal anti-monopoly service Igor Artemiev to monitor and analyze the fuel prices in the regions and in case of unreasonable rise of prices the federal anti-monopoly service has to undertake all necessary steps in accordance with the acting legislation.
Besides, the interdepartmental workgroup under the chairmanship of the first deputy Chairman of the Russian Viktor Zubkov will be formed with the purpose to raise the efficiency of the work for suppression of the financial operations (including the operations with the use of so-called “one-day” companies), aimed at legalization of incomes, obtained through criminal activity, financing of terrorism, tax and customs payment evasion and through acquisition of corruption incomes.
The staff of the workgroup will include representatives of law-enforcement bodies, the Central Bank of Russia and the Federal Tax Service.
