Bashkir agrarians are preparing themselves for “Green Week-2012”
The 77th international agricultural exhibition “Green Week-2012” will be held in Berlin on January 20-29. The Minister for agriculture of Russia Elena Skrynnik will head the Russian delegation, which staff includes representatives of Bashkortostan too. The Ministry for agriculture RB reports that two republican enterprises will demonstrate their products in Berlin this year: “BASHSPIRT” and the Bashkir scientific-research institute for bee-keeping and apitherapy.
Thus, The Government of Bashkortostan and the Ministry for agriculture RB were rewarded with the special prizes for high quality and wide assortment of Bashkir foods by the organizers of “Green Week” in 2011. Besides, the Ministry for agriculture RB, the Bashkir scientific-research institute for bee-keeping and apitherapy, JSC “BASHSPIRT”, JSC “Belebeevsky milk factory” and the chair of biology, bee-keeping and gamekeeping of the Bashkir State Agrarian University were rewarded with the memorable medals for active participation in the Russian exposition.
Russia takes part in the Berlin’s exhibition in the course of 16 years, demonstrating innovational technologies in agriculture, investment projects and the best foods. Russia traditionally occupies a separate pavilion with the area 6000 square meters. In 2011 the country has presented 140 investment projects with the total cost 4 billion euro.
The international agricultural exhibition “Green Week” is the only one of its kind international exhibition of achievements in food industry, agriculture and gardening. It is held every year since 1926. More than 300 symposiums, seminars, forums and gatherings will be held within its frames this year and the organizers expect that 415000 people from different countries will visit it. 1635 organizations have submitted their applications for participation and official delegations of 40 countries as well as the top-managers of the leading global agrarian and food companies will open their expositions at the “Green Week-2012”.
