Bank employees are the most well-paid specialists in Russia and the average wage in the bank sector exceeds the average all-Russian salary 2,5 times.
The Center for economic investigations under the Moscow Financial-Industrial Academy has published the results of its own research. According to its one-year monitoring, made between October 2010 and October 2011, the average bank employee started to earn 7,4% more: about 57 thousand rubles monthly.
The Russian State Statistics Committee also confirms that the bank sector is the leader by wages and this is the only sphere in the country, in which the salaries exceed 50 thousand rubles and only workers of the companies, specializing in mining operations, could stand rather close to them.
The lowest wages were registered in textile industry and agriculture. The level of wages at budget institutions also traditionally goes behind the all-Russian average wage.
