International observers have highly estimated organization of the last State Duma elections on the territory of Bashkortostan. The chairman of the Central Electoral Commission RB Khaidar Valeev received a letter from the chairman of the Russian Public Franchise Institute’s Council Igor Borisov, in which he said many thanks to all electoral commissions of the Republic for the opportunity for all international observers to visit local election stations and for the access to all necessary information, the press-service of the Central Electoral Commission RB reported to the news agency “Bashinform”.
“According to the results of the questionnaires, obtained by the observers, we’ve received quite objective assessments on the State Duma elections, held in Russia. All international observers mark high level of the elections’ organization in your region. The group of the independent international observers has come to the conclusion that the principles of universal, equal and direct franchise, open and transparent elections, periodical elections, free elections, fair elections and real elections were observed in full volume in accordance with the filled and signed questionnaires, obtained at the elections stations” – said in the letter.
